Even older are the Iron Age hill fort settlements of Ambresbury Banks and Loughton Camp, which both lie within the forest itself.
To the east of London is the Docklands with its financial heart at Canary Wharf, the O2 Arena and onwards to Bank. For the business traveller or delegate, the M11 and M25 are just minutes away, and 2 airports, London Stansted and London City, are also within easy reach.
Transport
Exit m25 (j27) onto m11 southbound. Travel south to end of m11. Take right- hand exit a406 (North Circular) towards West End. Keep left and take first exit towards Woodford Green/Walthamstow. Take a104 for Woodford Green. Approx. 300 yds turn left into Oak Hill. Hotel is 200 yards on the right.

There is a bar/lounge serving drinks and light snacks from 11:00 till 23:00. Sandwiches are served all day. The restaurant serves breakfast daily (continental and full English). Dinner is available from Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 21:30. Limited room service is also available.
