Japanese breakfast at the Montcalm Hotel's Crescent Restaurant is to be experienced and appreciated; as must the amazingly invigorating effect that this healthy, low calorie meal has on the body.
The healthy attributes of the breakfast are numerous; Miso soup (made from fermented soya bean) is high in vitamin B, seaweed is rich in minerals and reputedly purifies the blood of pollution, natural pickles aid digestion, and the positive effects of oily fish on the brain and joints have been well documented.
Japanese breakfast costs GBP 19.95 per person and is served daily between 07:00 and 10:00 (07:30 and 11:00am Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).
The Crescent is an airy and light restaurant serving imaginative choices of dishes including seasonal specialities. It is open for lunch from 12:30 until 14:30 Monday to Friday, dinner from 18:30 until 22:30 Monday to Sunday.
